Who We Are
Our work started with the Listening Tables at Columbia University. We are a group of faculty, students, and alumni who are passionate about bringing our dialogue format to all New Yorkers who want to engage deeply with critical issues in American life and make meaningful connections.
Where We Are
You can find American Dialogues in different outdoor locations in New York City (currently serving Manhattan). Click below to see our events lineup.
How We Started
Read WSJ’s story of how our dialogue project began as an effort to counter disengagement, polarization, and loneliness.
Do you want to be part of the team? We are always looking for volunteers to support our work. American Dialogues is not a business and relies on people who are passionate about dialogue. Reach out if you are interested in joining us!
